Pete has just exhibited at the Design Weekend, Tatton Park. The event proved to be a great success in raising the profile of his art work in the north west. The news team regret that this event was not reported in the weeks leading up to the event but stress that more notice will be given of up and coming events in the future.

9th September 2008:
Lancashire Play at Liverpool
Pete will be painting on location at Liverpool Cricket Club in Aigburth when Liverpool Cricket Club plays host to Lancashire vs Somerset in the one day match on Sunday 14th September and then again in the four-day match vs Kent from Wednesday 17th September. The completed paintings will be displayed on the web site and as with the Royal Birkdale painting, prints will be available.
July 2008:
Pete on location at the British Open ChampionshipPete attended the Open at Royal Birkdale in July to paint the scene from the 18th Green. The windy conditions made it difficult to finish the painting on the day so Pete produced a finished painting from the studio later on. The original was sold to a member of the Royal Birkdale club on the day but a limited edition of 25 framed prints are available to purchase for £50.00 each as seen below
“This was a great opportunity to paint at such a high profile event. The memorable thing about the day was the windy weather conditions. This made it difficult to paint as the scene kept changing constantly as the clouds blew over the course. It didn’t help that the paper got damaged on the way to the location either but as I didn’t have a spare I just had to make do.”
